Our Diamonds
Yes. Our diamonds are lab-grown, which means they are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds. The only difference is origin — ours are created in a controlled laboratory environment rather than extracted from the earth. Every diamond is IGI certified and carries the same fire, brilliance, and durability as a mined stone.
IGI stands for the International Gemological Institute — one of the world's leading independent diamond grading laboratories. Every Trichel diamond is graded by IGI for Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat weight. You receive a certificate with your purchase that confirms your diamond's exact specifications. You can verify your certificate at igi.org.
Chemically, physically, and optically — nothing. Both are pure carbon crystals with the same hardness (10 on the Mohs scale), the same refractive index, and the same brilliance. The difference is origin and price. Lab-grown diamonds cost 60-80% less than mined diamonds of identical quality, with zero mining impact.
The 4 Cs are the universal standard for grading diamonds: Cut — How well the diamond's facets interact with light. The most important C. We carry only Excellent and Ideal cuts. Color — Graded D (colorless) to Z (light yellow). We carry D-H color, which appears bright white to the eye. Clarity — The presence of inclusions or blemishes. We carry VS1-VVS2 clarity, which is eye-clean in every piece. Carat — The weight of the diamond. One carat equals 0.2 grams.
Lab-grown diamonds, like all diamonds, are not typically purchased as financial investments. Their value is in their beauty, meaning, and the moments they represent. If resale value is a priority, we recommend focusing on Cut and Color quality, which hold their desirability best over time.
Ordering & Payment
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All transactions are processed securely by Stripe.
Yes. Shop Pay Installments allows you to split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments. Available at checkout on eligible orders.
Absolutely. Our checkout is secured by SSL encryption. We use Stripe for payment processing — one of the most trusted payment platforms in the world. We never store your card details.
Contact us immediately at support@trichelco.com if you need to change or cancel. In-stock orders can be changed within 2 hours of placing. Made-to-order pieces can be changed within 24 hours. After production begins, changes may not be possible.
Returns & Sizing
We offer a 30-day return policy on all unworn pieces in original condition with original IGI certificate. Email support@trichelco.com with your order number to start a return. We will send a prepaid return label within 24 hours.
Custom engraved pieces, items resized by a third party, items showing signs of wear, and final sale items are non-returnable.
Three ways: 1. Measure an existing ring: Place a ring you wear comfortably on our size chart and match the inner diameter. 2. String method: Wrap string around your finger, mark where it overlaps, measure the length, and divide by 3.14. 3. Visit a local jeweler: Ask them to measure your finger — most do it free. Yes. One complimentary resize within 60 days of purchase. Contact us at support@trichelco.com to arrange.
For bracelets, measure your wrist and add 0.5-1 inch for comfort. Our most popular bracelet length is 7 inches. For necklaces, 18 inches is the most popular length and sits just below the collarbone on most people.
After Your Purchase
Every Trichel & Co. piece comes with complimentary lifetime cleaning and inspection. Contact us anytime at support@trichelco.com to arrange. We will assess your piece, tighten any loose prongs, clean and polish, and return it looking like new.
Contact us immediately at support@trichelco.com with photos. Stones lost due to manufacturing defects are replaced at no charge. Normal wear and accidental damage may be subject to a repair fee.
Every piece comes with its IGI certificate which serves as documentation of your diamond's quality. For insurance purposes, we recommend obtaining an independent appraisal from a certified gemologist, who can appraise the full retail replacement value of your piece.
Our Jewelry
We offer pieces in 10K, 14K, and 18K solid gold — never gold plated, never gold filled, never hollow. Each piece is stamped with its karat weight. 10K: 41.7% pure gold — most durable, most affordable, ideal for everyday wear. 14K: 58.3% pure gold — the most popular choice, balancing durability and richness. 18K: 75% pure gold — the richest color, most prestigious, slightly softer.
Every piece is available in: - Yellow Gold (warm, classic) - White Gold (cool, modern) - Rose Gold (warm, romantic) - Platinum (rarest, most durable)
Store pieces individually in the provided box or a soft pouch to prevent scratching. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft brush — rinse and pat dry. Avoid exposing your jewelry to: - Harsh chemicals and cleaning products - Chlorine (pools and hot tubs) - Perfume, hairspray, and lotions - Ultrasonic cleaners for pavé settings Bring your piece in annually for a complimentary inspection and cleaning under our Lifetime Care program.
Our 18K gold and platinum pieces are generally well-tolerated by those with metal sensitivities. If you have a known allergy to nickel, we recommend 18K yellow gold or platinum, as white gold alloys sometimes contain nickel. Contact us and we can advise based on your specific sensitivity.
Shipping
Free. Every US order ships free, regardless of order value. No minimums.
In-stock pieces ship within 1-2 business days and arrive in 3-5 business days via standard shipping. Made-to-order and ring orders require 2 weeks for manufacturing, then ship within 1-2 business days.
Yes. We ship to Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Europe. International delivery takes 7-21 business days depending on destination. Customs duties are the responsibility of the recipient.
Yes. Every Trichel & Co. order is fully insured during transit at no extra cost. In the event of loss or damage, we will replace or refund your order completely.
Orders over $500 require an adult signature upon delivery. Please ensure someone is available, or arrange an alternative delivery with the carrier using your tracking number.
